So who are you buying from?

Hi and welcome to Watermeadow Lane; I'm Claire Docherty and I'm the one who designs all the jewellery, makes all the jewellery, packs it, takes it to the post office and appreciates every single order that you make! Every time my phone pings that an order has arrived, I smile the biggest smile.. and every time a 5 star review comes through, I burst with pride (and sometimes happy tears!) because thats my "work appraisal" saying your doing a good job and keep going. So yep, its just me and I feel every inch of this business...I am a Mum to 1 girl, 3 boys and a cocker spaniel called Piper and I work from my home in Melbourne, South Derbyshire, although I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I started my business so I could work around my children and it seems to have gone from what I thought would be a part-time venture to an all consuming full-time business which I just love and I still get to be there for my kids. I know when I wear pretty jewellery it makes me feel good and pretty and somehow more 'seen', if that makes sense... so that's why I create pretty pearl jewellery....so other women also feel good...and pretty...and 'seen' and if that means the simple act of wearing a beautiful pearl necklace or earrings to lift you, then that's a step we should take every day.
