Delivery & Returns

UK

Shipping is free on UK orders – all jewellery will be sent by Royal Mail signed for, which will include tracking and insurance of your item while in transit.

International Orders

International orders will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed Worldwide which is a fully insured service. The delivery aim is 3-5 working days to Europe and 6-7 working days to the rest of the World although this could be up to 4 weeks as this can vary at different times of the year.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: As a result of the UK leaving the EU, taxes and duties may be chargeable on parcels. Those costs depend on the country receiving the parcel as it is those countries who set the charges. You will need to check your own government website to see what those fees could be. Items can also be delayed in customs. Please note that you are responsible for any import/tax charges incurred when your parcel clears customs.

Dispatch times

If an item is on the website it will be in stock and I will aim to send it out within 1-3 working days. However if you require amendments to an item of jewellery please get in touch. If you need something urgently, please email me before placing an order and I'll do my best to help: hello@watermeadowlane.co.uk

You will receive an e-mail when your order has been shipped. If you choose to create an online account when you check out, you can login at any time to check your order status.

Refund policy

I have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.

To start a return, you can contact me at hello@watermeadowlane.co.uk. If your return is accepted, I’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns postage will only be paid if an item is faulty or I am at fault. If you have changed your mind and wish to return an item you will need to pay for the postage yourself. Please make sure you use a suitable postage service that is insured to cover the cost of the jewellery should it be lost or stolen, for example the Royal Mail offers a number of tracking services with insurance. You are responsibile for the jewellery until I have received it. If it does get lost in the post then I will be unable to make the refund.

You can always contact me for any return questions at hello@watermeadowlane.co.uk.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right. I will only pay for return postage if am item has arrived damaged or I am at fault.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately I cannot accept returns on gift cards, sale items and earrings due to hygiene issues.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Warranty

During the Warranty Period of twelve months from purchase, I will repair or replace, at no charge, any item that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and care. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty. Proof of purchase is required.
